By using TradeYard, you agree to these Terms and the related marketplace rules and policies linked from this page. If you do not agree, do not use the website. TradeYard operates as a Canadian marketplace for auctions, Fixed Price listings, local services, messages, and marketplace discovery. Features, categories, seller tools, moderation processes, pricing, and availability may change as the service improves.
TradeYard provides a platform for local item listings, service posts, auctions, messages, search, and marketplace discovery. TradeYard is not a party to transactions between users unless a page or written agreement specifically says otherwise. TradeYard does not guarantee item condition, seller identity, buyer payment, ownership, pickup, delivery, shipping, service quality, work completion, or transaction outcome.
Auction listings accept bids until the auction closes. Fixed Price item listings show a seller price and use Contact Seller instead of bidding. Service listings describe local work, provider base, service coverage, and quote or price details. TradeYard may display different actions, expiry periods, relist options, messaging access, and search filters depending on the listing type.
Users are responsible for their account activity, listings, service posts, messages, photos, reviews, and other content they submit. Users must provide accurate information and must not post misleading, illegal, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, abusive, or prohibited content.
Users arrange payment, pickup, delivery, inspection, service scope, work schedule, returns, taxes, warranties, and final deal terms directly with each other. TradeYard does not process item or service payments, does not hold funds, does not provide escrow, and does not provide payment protection for direct user transactions.
Auction publication, auction relisting, Fixed Price item publication, Fixed Price relisting, Service publication, Contact Seller, Boost, Featured, and platform promotion tools are free while launch pricing is active. The Pricing page shows the current launch terms and listing durations. TradeYard may change pricing or availability later, but current users should rely on the terms shown at the time they use a tool. Contact Seller and service responses are not item payments, deposits, reservations, escrow, or guarantees of sale.
TradeYard may review, edit, hide, reject, remove, limit, or suspend listings, messages, accounts, or features when needed for rules, safety, security, abuse prevention, or platform quality.
TradeYard is provided on an "as available" basis. The platform may have errors, downtime, changing rules, or changing availability. Users are responsible for evaluating listings, users, item condition, prices, legal requirements, taxes, pickup, delivery, and payment decisions before completing a transaction.
